Veterans For Peace 2020 National Convention Workshop on Agent Orange
Namaya, MIA, MSN, D.Sci, is an internationally renowned poet, artist, who creates art and community building projects for peace. His expertise is creating community peace building art projects internationally. He is a veteran, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Yemen, and is a lifelong peace activist. He has presented art and performance projects “Memoria. Hablar. Dignidad.” at human rights centers Villa Grimaldi in Santiago and other peace building projects around the globe. His art work has appeared in shows in San Miguel A llende and peace centers internationally. He was in Vietnam in 2020 for an art and writing residency called “Vietnam: Journey to Forgiveness”. During that residency he designed a project “Do Not Forget Me: A Journey to Forgiveness.”
