PURPOSE.—It is the purpose of this Act to address and remediate the ongoing problems and concerns that arose or will arise from the use of these deadly herbicides, including Agent Orange, during the Vietnam War.

Wars do not end when the bombs stop falling and the fighting ceases. The devastation continues long after, in the land and in the minds and bodies of the affected population.
